Working together on a new programme

At the start of April, we released Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar's annual report for 2018 titled: ‘Working together on a new programme’. Here, we will reflect on great results and look toward the new programme for 2019 and beyond.

If we were to line up the approximately 339 cars Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar helped keep off the road every day during the morning rush hour by the end of 2018, they would extend more than 1.3 kilometres. Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar helped keep approximately 683 off the road each day throughout 2018. In doing so, we reduced daily CO2 emissions by a tonne. This means that together, we have reduced CO2 emissions by 295 tonnes on an annual basis, which is equivalent to the annual emissions of 37 households. We're proud of this result!

What we will do in the years to come

In the years to come, we will also work with partners based in the city and in the region to encourage travellers to make smart choices regarding their daily commutes and during busy periods such as peak days and events. Visit our website to read the entire annual report for 2018
